IF - I Spy.....

I spy, with my little eye?????? Wha? - Huh? where?




This scientific experiment should have produced Something in the test tube, so when our poor professor spies absolotuley nothing, he is somewhat taken aback. had the experiment gone wrong?...OR, had something more sinister happened, maybe a case of commercial espionage.

What is even more I spyish about this, is that the actual painting is unlikely to be seen again. I painted on the back of another painting, which may end up in a frame.

IF - Wired

Nope.... Not too happy with my feeble attmept this week.



Wired... this is the words that came to mind when I think of it. Hopped up, angry, trapped, junkie....Literally wired.

It's a quick pen sketch. Couldn't be bothered to do much more with it, selective inversion in Photoshop.

I was off work on Friday afternoon, so didn't get the title until Saturday. I've scribbled something down, but I'm not really that pleased with it. The idea is OK....But, I didn't really manage to inspire myself that much with it.

ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY - ? an experiment.

Hi folks. Today is Friday.....and that means ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY. Today's effort is as much an experiment in artistic lteracy as it is to my dubious painterly skills......All will be explained later in the week. Probably next Friday.

HIDE!!!!!!!!

With electronic CCTV in every street, phone bugging and even satellite tracking of cars and individuals - There is NOWWHERE to hide anymore. No wonder the smile has been ripped from this guy's face, and he looks in a state of sheer panic!

Anyway, enough of the mystery. Here is my submission, which for once was Actually created specificaly for this weeks IF. It is watercolour and pen, on real watercolour paper - (Boy, am I pushing the boat out this time!)

This measures 12cm x 21cm, and if anybody would like it, I've put it up on E-bay....You see, If I don't it will just end up cluttering up my desk, or shelves or something. That will force me to get rid of it. May even bring me in enough to buy a new half pan of colour?. You can click on the image if you want to see a bigger version of it.

........Oh yes - While I'm here I'll explain the stupid experiment. I painted this on Thursday night. Before the IF title had been given. I set myself the task of posting it up, regardless of the title, and explaining WHY that was the title of the picture.
